Dine Diaspora presents its fourth annual CHOP BAR, a food festival inspired by the ambience of West Africa's makeshift small restaurants.

Established in 2016, this festival draws hundreds of people to celebrate African food culture. At CHOP BAR, people are transported to a world of flavors, music, and style, while they enjoy tasty bites by a celebrity chef, indulge in crafted cocktails, and dance to global rhythms.

Chef Eric Adjepong is the co-owner of Pinch & Plate, a pop-up dining service in Washington, DC. A finalist on Season 16 of ‘Top Chef’, Eric introduced judges and viewers to staple West African dishes like fufu and egusi stew - a first in the history of the show.

His philosophy behind food is simple - using the best ingredients makes for the best meal. His flavor profile comes from his classical French training, industry experience, travels and West African heritage.
